UMAG HISTORY

Umag is a city situated only 10 km from the border with Slovenia, which gives it a very favorable geographical position.
It has a Mediterranean climate, along Umag there is a coastline of up to 45 km with numerous beaches and promenades. The history of Umag is interesting and goes back to Roman times, so the oldtown of Umag is full of sights and it is filled with remainders of the Roman times.
